Physician.
Paramedic.
Applied Scientist.
Rural family medicine resident doctor, paramedic, and applied scientist with hands-on acute care experience, dedicated to providing preventative and life-saving care in British Columbia.
About
I am a Rural Family Practice resident and primary care paramedic based in Nelson, BC. I approach medicine with the mindset of an applied scientist, applying technical principles to acute care and rural health delivery.
Prior to residency, I worked as an industrial and event paramedic and conducted graduate research on spinal cord stimulation and machine learning.
Clinical Experience
Core rotations in Emergency Medicine, ICU, Rural Family Medicine, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric EM, Psychiatry, and Anesthesia across Kootenay Lake, Kootenay Boundary, and Royal Inland Hospitals.
Pre-Hospital Care
Primary Care Paramedic (BCEHS): Managing complex rural and urban emergencies, and caring for diverse patient populations including the Indigenous, marginalized, disenfranchised, and persons with addictions.
Event/Industrial Medic: Experience with mass gathering medicine (Odyssey Medical) and industrial OH&S (Iridia Medical).
